Nanaimo Women Helping Women exists to partner with local front line organizations and support women in crisis. We offer a variety of supports to clients who are referred to us.
PLEASE NOTE that our mandate specifies that we only support single women and children, and only in cases where the situation is related to abuse and/or homelessness.
Below are the ways that we can offer support. Please click on the option below (bolded text) that you wish to access and you will be taken to our application process for that specific support.
- We can provide gently used and new housing essentials to assist women who are moving into a new space.
- We may be able to offer a variety of other types of support, situation dependent. This could include clothing, grocery gift cards, technology, or even a bicycle.
2025 Car Kit Referral
Please complete the Car Kit Referral Form and email to nanaimowomenhelpingwomen@gmail.com. We have 50 kits available and will continue to offer them until all kits have been spoken for.
